At some point all wood floors can start looking a bit tired. If your floor is basically in good condition (no loss of color) and just showing signs of wear in high traffic areas, it’s a relatively straightforward task to re-coat it. More effort is required, starting with sanding down to the bare wood, if both the stain and clear coat have worn away down to the original wood or if you want to change the color of your floor entirely.
